How has your journey been in the personal training segment so far?

I started Luxury Lifestyle back in 2021 in my garage. I focused more on getting to know my clients, personalizing experiences for them, and helping them reach their goals on a very personal level.

Our clients loved Luxury Lifestyle and we grew quickly to two private studios.

We used Vagaro when we were relatively smaller.

I added 5 more instructors to Luxury Lifestyle as our client base expanded. Now that we were bigger, we needed software that would help us cater to the volumes.

The most obvious choice was Mindbody at that time since it is the biggest in the industry and a significant number of personal training studios use it. Shortly, I realized that it was not the best decision.

What challenges did you run into while using Mindbody?

After a few months of using Mindbody, I decided to start finding another software.

Mindbody was outdated, complicated, and non-intuitive, and was priced way higher than the value it actually gave us. Mindbody thinks they can charge whatever just because they have been around longer.

Another major issue was that it took way too long for their support to get back to even on the smallest of issues.

Why did you decide to go with Bookee?

We found Bookee through an Instagram ad. The design looked good, hence we decided to speak with the team.

The team was extremely pleasant. We, over time, built a great relationship with Bookee. The team heard our needs and heard our frustrations.

The product is easy to set up, and easy to work on - both on the client side and the admin side. I had to manage 5 instructors and the operations bit, which Bookee solved with such ease.

I thought if Bookee can make my everyday tasks so simple for me, why not try it out?

Even after becoming a regular client, Bookee caters to all the product requests I give to them that will help me with my business. I feel like I am building the product with Bookee, which is a great feeling.

Bookee has continued to help with the things that we need. My book keeping team and financial advisor use the reports extensively.

We check out close to 100 training appointments in a week, being able to easily check out appointments is way easier on Bookee.

If I had to quantify, we charge about a $100 for a session with one intructor which is for 1 hour, we are saving almost $2,000 worth of time.

This is why I decided to add the second location, a gym that I am managing, to Bookee too.
